What we collect and why

The only personal data this website actively collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), and the content of your message. We use that information solely to reply to your enquiry.

We also collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics through our analytics provider (see below) so we can understand which pages people find useful.

Contact form (Formspree)

When you submit the contact form, your message is routed to us through Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. Formspree processes the data you submit on our behalf and forwards it to our email inbox. You can read Formspree's privacy practices at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to measure website traffic. Umami does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It records anonymised page views, referrers, browser type, and rough country-level location.

How long we keep your data

Contact form submissions stay in our email inbox until we resolve your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up follow-up questions. We do not retain personal data for longer than we need to. If you would like us to delete your message, just ask.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with marketers. The only third parties that ever see your personal data are the processors we use to run the site (Formspree for the contact form, Vercel for hosting). Those providers are bound by their own data-protection obligations.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to ask us to:

• confirm what personal data we hold about you,
• provide you with a copy of that data,
• correct anything inaccurate,
• delete your data,
• restrict or object to how we use it, and
• receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you think we have mishandled your information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For anything that materially affects you, we will say so clearly when you next visit.
